VidiCore Get Item ID By File Path Action
This node retrieves the corresponding VidiCore item ID for a file by using its relative file path.
It can be used when a file already exists in VidiCore and a following workflow step requires the related item ID, for example to add metadata, apply deletion locks, add the item to a collection, or perform further VidiCore operations.
If the file cannot be found in VidiCore, the node fails.

Configurable Settings
Async
Enables or disables asynchronous execution.
URL
The URL of the VidiCore system.
Example:
Vidispine Wildcard
Defines whether the file name can be searched independently of its exact storage location.
If enabled, wildcard searches are allowed. This makes it possible to search for a file globally, regardless of its folder path. In the background, the query parameter wildcard=true is used.
Example:
If disabled, the relative file path must be provided completely. In this mode, wildcard searches are not supported.
Relative File Path
The relative path of the file on the VidiCore system, including the file extension.
Example without wildcard:
Example with wildcard enabled:
Storage ID
Optional ID of the VidiCore storage on which the file is located.
This can be used in multi-storage environments to avoid ambiguous results when identical relative file paths exist on different storages.
If a Storage ID is provided, only files on the specified storage are considered.
If this field is empty, the first matching file found by VidiCore is returned.
