# VidiCore Add Library To Collection Action

This node adds an existing **VidiCore library** to an existing **VidiCore collection**.

It can be used to link a library to a project-related collection in VidiCore, for example when a library should be grouped under a parent or child collection created by a previous workflow step.

When executed successfully, the node result contains the ID of the updated collection.

#### Configurable Settings

**Async**

Enables or disables asynchronous execution.

**URL**

The URL of the VidiCore system.

Example:

```
https://myVidiCore.com
```

**Collection ID**

The ID of the VidiCore collection to which the library should be added as content.

Example:

```
VX-1
```

Common usage with project collection wildcards:

```
{project.custom.childCollectionVC}
{project.custom.parentCollectionVC}
```

**Library ID**

The ID of the VidiCore library that should be added to the collection.

Example:

```
VX*2
```
