# VidiCore Remove Deletion Lock From Collection Action

This node removes a **deletion lock** from a **VidiCore collection**.

It can be used to unlock a protected collection so that it can be deleted again, for example during cleanup workflows or when a previously protected project collection no longer needs to be retained.

When executed successfully, the node result contains the ID of the unlocked collection.

#### Configurable Settings

**Async**

Enables or disables asynchronous execution.

**URL**

The URL of the VidiCore system.

Example:

```
https://myVidiCore.com
```

**Collection ID**

The ID of the VidiCore collection from which the deletion lock should be removed.

Example:

```
VX-1
```

Common usage with project collection wildcards:

```
{project.custom.childCollectionVC}
{project.custom.parentCollectionVC}
```

The node result contains the ID of the unlocked collection.

Example:
