# VidiCore Remove Item From Collection Action

This node removes a **VidiCore item** from an existing **VidiCore collection**.

It can be used to unlink an item from a collection without deleting the item itself. For example, this is useful when an item should no longer belong to a project-related collection but must remain available in VidiCore.

When executed successfully, the node result contains the ID of the updated collection.

#### Configurable Settings

**Async**

Enables or disables asynchronous execution.

**URL**

The URL of the VidiCore system.

Example:

```
https://myVidiCore.com
```

**Collection ID**

The ID of the collection from which the item should be removed.

Example:

```
VX-1
```

Common usage with project collection wildcards:

```
{project.custom.childCollectionVC}
{project.custom.parentCollectionVC}
```

**Item ID**

The ID of the VidiCore item that should be removed from the collection.

Example:

```
VX-2
```
