# IMPORT (legacy)

The Import trigger will be triggered as soon as an import of a file is executed.\

Note: This event trigger is primary executable in Helmut4 verison 4.0.0 and below. In all following versions the Import trigger is merged into the [AUTOIMPORT](/helmut4-releases/v4.6.0/helmut4-components/helmutio/streams/io-event-triggers/autoimport.md).
