# HelmutIO

### Render management with a twist

Helmut IO cares for your Ingest and Outgest. With IO, you can save valuable editing time and distribute rendering or asset import to dedicated machines in your environment. Make it easy for editors to match requirements by creating templates with Adobe Media Encoder for various technical formats. Automate file copies and exports to third party software with REST APIs.

IO-streams come into play when you trigger an import or export, be it from inside an application or with Helmuts web UI. Watchfolders offer uncomplicated ways of processing assets that come from third party applications or users outside your post production team with storage access. A job dashboard allows you to monitor and control all jobs processed, so you will never miss a file gone astray.
