# Local AE Preferences ?

This wildcard will be replaced by the path of the local After Effects profile directory. Since there is a different path for each major and sub version of Adobe After Effects, it is sufficient to enter the number of the version here as an input.

* {local.ae.preferences.?}

* For the following input (?) --> 24.3

* The will be resolved to the following directory:
  * MacOS: /Users/*username*/Library/Preferences/Adobe/After Effects/24.3
  * Windows: C:\Users\\*username*\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\After Effects\24.3
