# Project Locked

This wildcard will return the lock status of the current project.

* Project is locked: true
* Project is unlocked: false

A project can be locked either because it is currently being accessed by a user or its status has been set using the [Project Status Update Action](https://docs.helmut.de/helmut4-releases/v4.8.0/helmut4-components/streamdesigner/nodes/actions/project-21/project-status-update-action) node.
