# Project Savepath

The wildcard will consistently resolve to the appropriate folder for the project's auto saves..

For example:

* Project file location: /Volumes/helmut4/Projects/News Room/2024-02-14\_NewsEdit/Saves

The saves folder can also be accessed via {project.parent}/Saves.

The path of the "Saves" folder needs to be next to the project file as this is due to a fixed logic which is used within the [Restore\_Save](https://docs.helmut.de/helmut4-releases/v4.8.0/helmut4-components/helmutfx/streams/fx-event-triggers/restore_save) trigger.
