# Preferences

The preferences menu is identical for all four modules: [FX](/helmut4-releases/v4.9.1/helmut4-components/helmutfx.md), [IO](/helmut4-releases/v4.9.1/helmut4-components/helmutio.md), [CO](/helmut4-releases/v4.9.1/helmut4-components/helmutco.md) and [HK](/helmut4-releases/v4.9.1/helmut4-components/helmuthk.md).

The HK view lacks the option to set the following paths:

* Temporary project import directory - only via [FX preferences](/helmut4-releases/v4.9.1/helmut4-components/helmutfx/preferences.md#temporary-project-import-directory)
* Upload directory - only via [CO preferences](/helmut4-releases/v4.9.1/helmut4-components/helmutco/preferences.md#upload-directory)
* Temporary upload directory - only via [CO preferences](/helmut4-releases/v4.9.1/helmut4-components/helmutco/preferences.md#temporary-upload-directory)<br>
