# Send Notification to User

The "Send Notification to User" Action node enables the sending of a notification to a user. The message is visible in the web interface as well as within the panel and will disappear after 10 seconds. This functionality can be utilized, for instance, to update the user on the progress of a workflow that may not be visible on the dashboard.
