# AUTOIMPORT

The Autoimport feature is activated whenever an asset is imported into a Premiere Pro or After Effects project.

If an Autoimport profile is assigned while the [Helmut4 Panel](https://docs.helmut.de/helmut4-releases/helmut4-components/helmut4-panel) is active, it will generate a new job.

Streams related to this trigger allows to use several wildcards e.g. {job.assetId} and {job.assetNodeId}.

For a more advanced workflow, consider incorporating a [Prestream](https://docs.helmut.de/helmut4-releases/helmut4-components/helmutio/streams/io-event-triggers/prestream) within the Autoimport profile.

## Limitations

### Profile & Group

{% hint style="warning" %}
Only one auto-import profile can be assigned to a group. Assigning multiple auto-import profiles to the same group may cause issues and should be avoided.
{% endhint %}

### Import Cosmo Panel

Assets imported via the [Cosmo Panel](https://docs.helmut.de/helmut4-releases/helmut4-panel/panel-cosmo#import-assets) will not trigger the Autoimport. Alternatively, the [Panel\_Import](https://docs.helmut.de/helmut4-releases/helmut4-components/helmutio/streams/io-event-triggers/panel_import) can be utilized for this purpose.

The Autoimport feature will always be triggered by sequences and compositions. This behavior is a result of the internal processing of project files within the host application.

### Host Assignment

{% hint style="warning" %}
Any stream with this trigger must have "CLIENT" as the host type. Since this stream needs to be assigned to any user/client, server execution is not possible.
{% endhint %}
