## Important information about legacy

This event trigger was the primary executable in Helmut4 version 4.0.0 and below. In all following versions, the Import trigger functionality has been merged into the [Autoimport](https://docs.helmut.de/helmut4-releases/helmut4-components/helmutio/streams/io-event-triggers/autoimport) trigger.

To use an import stream, it is mandatory to create a profile beforehand.

## Usage / functionality

As the Import trigger is no longer used for any importing actions, it can now be considered a generic trigger for all kinds of workflows, which can be executed using the [Job Create Job Action](https://docs.helmut.de/helmut4-releases/helmut4-components/streamdesigner/nodes/actions/job-action/job-create-job-action) node.

### Host Assignment

Any stream with this trigger must have "CLIENT" as the host type. Since this stream needs to be assigned to any user/client, server execution is not possible.
