# Date Day Of Week Textual

The wildcard {date.day.of.week.textual} returns the current day of the week in textual format. The value of this node is interpreted by the operating system of your local client.

For example, on a German system, it will display in German, while on an English system, it will appear in English.

Example: Monday (english) or Dienstag (german)
