# Path Map To Win ?

This wildcard is substituted with the Windows (UNC) path equivalent corresponding to an input Unix path. This process requires matching path mappings defined in Helmut preferences to ensure mapping across different platforms.

The wildcard is used in the following way: 

* {path.map.to.win.?}
* For the following input (?) --> /Volumes/Profiles\_1/Users/Administrator/Pictures/helmut-IO.ico
* The output is going to be --> R:\Users\Administrator\Pictures\helmut-IO.ico
